The Flesh Of Kings is a Christian/Hardcore/Deathmetal band that was formed in the summer of 2007 under the name of Ashes To Embers hailing from Whittier Ca. After finalizing a set and line up, Ashes began playing shows in the OC/IE/LA area with such acts as Call To Preserve, We Are The End, Antagonist, Sleep For Sleepers, Betrayal, Earth From Above, Confide, DearLife, We Are Machines, The Great Commisission, and Sovereign Strength; as well as performing on G-Rock TV.
After a frontman change, and gaining Shem Reyes; Ashes went into the studio with former As Blood Runs Black bassist Justin Bundy to produce a respectable demo. In early 2011 Ashes went through another line-up change and brought Carlos Fernandez in on bass, as well as a name change to The Flesh Of Kings.
