When Sonic was six years old, she learned she was completely deaf in one ear. But instead of being afraid to sing, she embraced her unique sound and even landed a record deal at 14. That didn't work out, but she continued to pursue music and is currently a member of a music collective in San Francisco. She's excited to be at The Voice, where she will be judged on her singing and nothing more.
