Reckoning Hour is a brazilian metalcore band from Rio de Janeiro formed in 2012.
Its current lineup consists of lead singer JP, bassist Yan Marks, drummer Haquim, guitarist Philip Leander, and guitarist Thiago Tavares.
The name Reckoning Hour comes from the idea of a settling of scores, a moment of truth. Underneath the lyrics are a depiction of conflicting themes and overcoming adversity. Currently the band is marketing their EP: Rise of the Fallen and working on their debut: Between Death and Courage.
Reckoning Hour brings a whole new proposal to traditional metalcore with its heavy sound, low tunings, highly crafted riffs, and wide influence of heavy metal subgenres.
