Biography
We are Mekanism, an up-and-coming metal act from Tampere, Finland. Our band comprises five dedicated musicians, each with considerable experience in all things musical. Our music is built around fiery rock and metal riffs infused with pop sensibilities. The emphasis is on clean vocals, but we do employ the occasional aggressive scream and shout for an added balls factor. Massive metal riffs interwoven with beautiful choruses create the atmosphere that Mekanism is all about — an icing of vulnerability on a cock rock cake.
Description
Metal/Rock act from Tampere, Finland. The bands first EP “Cicatrized” was released 11 March 2011. In June 2012 Mekanism released another EP called “Unearth The Unknown”. Both EP’s received outstanding reviews from the biggest music medias in Finland and abroad. “Unearth The Unknown” also received “demo of the month”-title in one of the biggest music magazines in Finland called “Inferno”.
Within only in two years of existence Mekanism has released 2 official videos from the singles “On the Edge” and “Cicatrized”, performed in some of the biggest festivals in Finland, gathered notable fanbase with constant gigging and online promoting, proving that these guys are here to stay. The journey has just begun.
