"Seol Hee was an aspiring singer hoping to use her voice and dancing skills to earn enough money to take care of her elderly grandmother, who has raised Seol since the tragic deaths of her parents. When the science-obsessed organization known as A.I.M. ambushed a Stark Industries event where Seol was performing, Seol bravely attempted to defend the attendees, resulting in A.I.M. soldiers locking her in a hi-tech storage freezer. While trying to escape, Seol was exposed to the contents of an advanced cold-fusion energy experiment, which unexpectedly granted her control over frozen elements. Luna Snow is a k-pop idol and was created by Marvel along with developer Netmarble, responsible for the game mobile Marvel Future Fight. The idea of creating the character came from the public's requests to create heroes inspired by the local culture, according to an official Marvel note.
Although the first video in which it was disclosed does not show the character's face, the note describes her appearance and cites that she has heterochromia, ie eyes of different colors, in addition to following the theme of black ice and white ice.
The song "Tonight" by Luna Snow is performed by HyeonSeo (명형서), a member of the K-pop group BUSTERS (버스터즈).
