Ivan Cornejo is a singer and songwriter of Regional Mexican Music from Riverside, California. Cornejo endured a breakup in middle school that provided inspiration for songwriting. Alma Vacía, his 2021 debut album, was released by Manzana Records in August, just two months after his 17th birthday; it peaked at number two on the Regional Mexican Albums chart, while the singles "Noche de Relajo," and "Corazón Frío" also registered inside the Top 20. A week before his 18th birthday, he issued the full-length Dañado; it topped genre charts during its first week of release.
