O SACRED BLOOD foi fundado originalmente sob o nome SACRED, em Dezembro de 2003 por Polydeykis (guitarras, teclados, soprano) e Faethon (baixo). Rapidamente juntaram-se a eles Aiantas (guitarras) e Tasos (bateria) bem como o vocalista Nikos. Polydeykis, Faethon e Nikos adentraram o estúdio com a ausência de Tasos que, devido a dificuldades no trabalho, não pôde fazer as gravações.
Com esse line-up, a banda gravou seu primeiro cd demo independente intitulado "Clash of the Titans" no estúdio caseiro do baterista Chrisafis Tantanozis da banda de speed/power heavy metal Helênico "CRYSTAL TEARS". A demo incluía 4 faixas no gênero heavy/power/epic metal e obteve muitas críticas encorajadoras da cena underground.
