Faggonetta is a LGBTQ+ brazilian independent producer. Graduated in fashion design, he started working on music production in 2017, releasing an experimental project pf mixtapes on Soundcloud. His debut as a producer was Cyberphunk, a cyber-brazilian funk sound, later on remixed by the american singer Maya Lazaro.
He started studying about music production after graduated, also the song produced was mainly a soundtrack to his unreleased designed collection, mixing pop culture with the fashion world of transporting us into a diferent dimention, that's where Faggonetta work. Producers like Arca, Björk, Sophie, AG Cook, Kure Mothri and Danny L Harle are his biggest inspirations.
His first EP was 'Unholy Dreamland', a post-futuristic electro-pop sound. A major backgroud study
to his official debut album, 'The Rise of Faggonetta', transport us into a chaotic dimension where facing fears and fighting your own demons is the main goal to survival. It's a 'demonoid' musical atmosphere, a sound trip to a thriller movie that can be only created by your own imagination while listening to it.
His newest studio album follow the 'cuentistas' culture, very present in latin countries, such as Brasil. It re-tells the famous story of El Dorado, but in this presentatios, it takes the native's perspective. How our people was forced to watch colonization erases it history and destroy the 'golden land', as Europeans used to call it.
It makes a deep reflection on how capitalistics country corrupted Latin America's countries into a destructive mass, picture a black-hole sucking everything around it for it's own growth. This is the story that's been told, politic corruption, heart-breaks, delusional seeks of power, revolution, revenge and finding your way home.
