Ankhy, Brazilian Metal band with influences surrounded
Melodic Death Metal, Power Metal, Metalcore, Symphonic Metal and Progressive Metal, created in September 2011 by Felipe Bagatin (Felp) and Caio Vidal Nascimento (CJ) was formed in early 2012.
With the first lineup recorded the band's first release in June
the self titled EP "Ankhy" with 4 tracks.
In this period, the band had a lineup change, and had input
Olek Nowakowski (Guitar) and Cesar Luiz (keyboards).
With recorded material and the new lineup, the band had great
repercussions in the city of Curitiba doing a lot of shows and winning fans.
In October were invited to play at the festival Rock in Santa, Santa Cecilia -
Santa Catarina, alongside bands Semblant and Doomsday Ceremony.
In December the band had more than two thousand votes and was the winner,
participating in the Matanza Fest
a festival that includes soundtracks authorial organized by the band Matanza.
In the same month, to close 2012 with a flourish, shared the stage with
Catarina Symbolica band.
In February 2013 were at the festival Otacílio Rock Festival of Santa Catarina in the city of Costa Otacílio.
In May, keyboardist Cesar Luiz left the band and Guilherme Dantas takes the keys.
Currently the band is working on new songs for a next release

Banda Ankhy, banda Curitibana de Metal com influencias rodeadas
do Death Metal Melódico, Power Metal, Metalcore, Metal Sinfônico e do Metal Progressivo, idealizada em setembro de 2011 por Felipe Bagatin (Felp) e Caio Vidal Nascimento (CJ) sendo formada no inicio de 2012.
Com a primeira formação a banda gravou o primeiro trabalho em junho,
um EP auto intitulado "Ankhy" com 4 faixas.
Nesse Período, a banda teve uma mudança na formação, e teve a entrada de
Olek Nowakowski (Guitarra) e Cesar Luiz (teclados).
Com o material gravado e com a nova formação, a banda teve um bom destaque no cenário curitibano,
fazendo um grande número de shows e conquistando fãs.
Em outubro foram convidados para tocar no festival Rock in Santa, em Santa Cecília -
Santa Catarina,
ao lado das bandas Semblant e Doomsday Ceremony.
Em Dezembro a banda teve mais de dois mil votos e foi a grande vencedora,
participando do Matanza Fest,
um festival que inclui bandas de som autoral organizada pela própria banda Matanza.
No mesmo mês, para fechar 2012 com chave de ouro, dividiram os palcos com a
banda catarinense Symbolica.
Em fevereiro de 2013 estiveram presente no festival catarinense Otacílio Rock Festival na cidade de Otacílio Costa e atualmente estão em estúdio preparando material novo.
