The Black Mamba's unique blend of Blues, Rock, a dash of Soul and a whole lot of Funk, brewed in the club scene in Lisboa (Portugal) since '10. Born from a chance encounter between the seasoned grooves of bassist Ciro Cruz (who also colaborates with Ed Motta, Gabriel O Pensador, Howard Levy, The Rock in Rio Festival Band, etc), Miguel Cascais's drums (also a close colaborator of Áurea, Mafalda Veiga and Nu Soul Family) Pedro Tatanka's unique voice and guitar (a regular with such Artists as Richie Campbell, The Offshores and Kalibrado's among others)
Their eponymous break out album was released in May 2012 to critical acclaim, with the singles " It Ain't You" and " De Mim Mesmo" getting extensive airplay and accolades, their unique presence charming audiences across Portugal.
